Who Can Participate?

 

      Girls between the ages of 7 to 17 who have the athletic ability and DESIRE to fulfill their potential as basketball players.

                     Elite teams will be organized for all age groups. The pursuit of a bid to the AAU DI National Championship tournament is the goal of every team.

 

Why should you join the Atlanta Lady Celtics?     

   Qualified coaches and trainers who are dedicated to the development of your child’s basketball skills. 

 

      Exposure! Every team strives to qualify for the AAU National Championship! Older teams also participate in NCAA sanctioned "exposure" tournaments.

 

   We are a non-profit organization! Directors and coaches are all volunteers, and expenses are tightly managed to minimize the cost to parents and players.

 

      Competition! The Celtics compete against the top teams in Georgia, the Southeast and the United States.

 

How much does it cost?

 Approximately $400.00 or less. Each coach develops a team budget which outlines projected expenses. Parent input is valued and solicited.

Fundraising is encouraged to help defray travel and additional expenses.
