The Courtney S. Crooms Foundation is a  501 (c) (3) organization  that has been established to recognize the academic, athletic, and civic accomplishments of highly motivated  female basketball players. The Foundation is committed to service within the community, operates in the highest level of integrity, and is a member in good standing of the Georgia Center for Nonprofits.

Each year the Foundation awards grants in the amount of up to $1,000 each [$500 registration fee/$500 tournament fees] to the most qualified female applicants. Additionally, the Foundation conducts back-to-school giveaways that distribute necessary school supplies to teenaged girls between the ages of 14-18 and sponsors an annual basketball tournament that fosters a safe and competitive environment in which these female athletes can showcase their athletic prowess.

It is through the talents and leadership of these student -athletes on and off the court that the world's view of women's basketball will be changed in the new millennium. The CSC Foundation serves as both a catalyst and a spring-board to encourage, inspire, and to recognize: passion for the game, service to others and the pursuit of academic excellence.
