The Atlanta Lady Celtics is sad to announce the resignation of the following coaches from the organization: (1) Coach Boards /Team 2010  - we wish you luck as you leave to coach in the boys' league; (2 ) Coach Waldrop /Team 2012 Gold - we wish you luck in your new business, Ga Basketball Skills Academy; and (3) Coach Lewis /Team 2012 Black - we wish you luck in your future endeavors.

The Atlanta Lady Celtics have officially accepted an offer from Womanhood Athletics to be a member of the Adidas Grassroots basketball program! 

Adidas has completely overhauled their women's grassroots basketball program, and we are very excited about the changes.

The AAU National Committee has changed the Age Determining Date from January 1st to July 1st. The intent behind this change is to more closely align AAU with school eligibility and allow girls in the same graduating class to compete. See "Age Determing Date" for more details.

We are sad to announce that Coach Renardo Hutson has resigned from his position as Co-Manager of the Atlanta Lady Celtics, but-on the other hand-we pleased to announce his formation of a new basketball program called the Wallace Prather (WP) Celtics.

Also, the Atlanta Lady Celtics are pleased to announce that Tim Wilcox and Paul Boards have agreed to join the Celtics staff for the 2008 Spring/Summer season.

Tim will coach the 16U team and Paul will coach the elite 15U team. 

Tim and Paul most recently coached with the Georgia Nike Elite, and both have extensive experience coaching girl’s basketball. Prior to 2007, both coached with the Georgia Pistols.
